Custom Orders & Payment Plans Policy
At Creation Mini Fairies & Little Feet Reborn, we offer customers the opportunity to have a reborn doll created according to their selected preferences.
Creating a custom doll requires several weeks of work and may require the purchase of materials specifically for that order. The following conditions therefore apply to custom orders.
30% Deposit
A deposit equal to 30% of the total price of the doll is required to confirm a custom order and reserve its creation.
The order is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received and the main characteristics of the doll have been agreed upon with the customer.
Work on the doll generally begins only after the deposit has been received.
The deposit may be used to cover the purchase of the kit, hair, eyes and other materials required to create the doll.
Customization Choices
Before work begins, the main characteristics of the doll are agreed upon with the customer according to the customization options available for the selected model.
These may include:

the selected kit or model;

hair colour;
-
eye colour, when applicable;
-
the sex of the doll;
-
certain painting and skin-tone characteristics;
-
other details agreed upon before work begins.
Because each doll is individually hand-painted and handcrafted, it is not possible to reproduce another doll or a reference photograph exactly.
Reference photographs provided by the customer are therefore used as inspiration and do not constitute a guarantee of an identical reproduction.
Changes During the Creation Process
Once work has begun, certain changes may no longer be possible.
Any significant change requested after work has started will be evaluated based on the stage of completion of the doll.
If a requested change is possible but requires the purchase of additional materials or significant additional work, additional fees may be proposed to the customer before the change is made.
Creation Timeframe
The estimated creation timeframe for a custom doll is generally 6 to 8 weeks from confirmation of the order and receipt of the deposit.
This timeframe is an estimate.
Certain circumstances may extend the creation timeframe, including material availability, supplier delays or other circumstances beyond our control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will contact the customer to inform them.
The standard delivery timeframe of 5 to 10 business days after completion of the doll is additional to the creation timeframe.
Payment of the Remaining Balance
The 30% deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of the doll.
The remaining 70% balance must be paid in full before the doll is shipped.
No custom doll will be shipped until full payment has been received.
Installment Payment Plans
When an installment payment arrangement is accepted, the payment terms and schedule will be agreed upon with the customer.
Payments made are applied toward the outstanding balance of the order.
The doll remains the property of Creation Mini Fairies & Little Feet Reborn until payment has been received in full.
The doll will only be shipped once the entire balance has been paid.
Cancellation by the Customer
Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, cancellation after work has begun may result in the retention of amounts reasonably corresponding to materials purchased specifically for the order, work already completed and other costs incurred in connection with the order, subject to the customer’s rights under applicable law.
If a cancellation is requested, the situation will be evaluated based on the stage of completion of the doll and the expenses already incurred.
Final Approval
Once the doll is completed, photographs may be provided to the customer so they can view the finished creation before shipment.
Because each doll is a handcrafted artistic creation, slight differences from reference photographs or initial expectations may occur and are part of the unique nature of each reborn doll.
If the customer identifies a significant issue in relation to the characteristics that were agreed upon for the order, they should contact us before shipment so that the situation can be assessed.
Shipping
Once the doll has been completed and full payment has been received, the order will be prepared for shipment.
The usual delivery timeframe is 5 to 10 business days.
All other terms outlined in our Shipping Policy apply to the order.
Returns
Due to their personalized nature, dolls created specifically according to a customer’s choices generally cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind.
This provision does not limit any legal warranties or other rights and remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
Consumer Rights
This policy is not intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Quebec law.
In the event of a conflict between this policy and a mandatory provision of applicable law, the applicable law will prevail.
